You can group WAN interfaces and configure multipathing just for this group. For example: You have three internet interfaces. One dedicated line for mail and vpn and two low-cost DSL interfaces for webtraffic:
on eth6 and eth7 I attached a ADSL modem. Now we will configure multipathing for webtraffic balanced to the new group “DSL Interfaces”. I took the Persistence “by Source/Destination” because I had similar problems at my customers with persistence “by Connection”. They had problems with Typo3 administration and https sites like Amazon:
We will configure 50% on each DSL interface. Our dedicated line is our primary interface for everything except webtraffic. Click on the wrench to configure 100% for the dedicated line and 50% for each DSL interface:
Have a nice weekend :)
